Get to know Karen Popp!
Karen Popp is an experienced Nurse Practitioner, specializing in primary care and in working with critically ill patients. Karen came to Primary Medical in June of 2012 from Family Medical Practice, along with Dr. Castel. Karen has over eight years of intensive care experience working as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Karen is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
Karen earned a Master of Science in Nursing with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from UCLA. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Dominguez Hills, as well as associate degrees in nursing, art, and science from Ventura College.
