Marady Mesa is a dedicated Physician Assistant at Primary Medical Group’s Oxnard office. Born in the Philippines and raised in Oxnard, Marady has spent most of her life in the area, including the Santa Maria region during her PA school years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Cal State Channel Islands and a Master’s in Public Health from National University. Marady completed her Physician Assistant program at A.T. Still University in Santa Maria.

Marady takes a holistic approach to medicine, considering her patients’ backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles in addition to their immediate health concerns. Her interest in medicine was sparked by a career shift from data analytics to directly working with people, where she found greater fulfillment in patient interaction rather than focusing solely on data analysis.

Specializing in family medicine with a particular interest in endocrinology, Marady enjoys managing chronic conditions such as diabetes. Her research in diabetes care, including a published paper by the CDC, demonstrates her dedication to this field.

Outside of the clinic, Marady enjoys spending time with friends and family, binge-watching comedy shows and horror movies, and participating in outdoor activities such as ice skating, skiing, and rock climbing. She also has a love for food and window shopping. These activities help her stay grounded and physically active, which enhances her ability to empathize with patients who share similar interests. Marady is excited to collaborate with her patients on their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
