Dr. Michael Bailey was born and raised in southern California and graduated from UCLA School of Medicine in 1977. He moved to Ventura to train at Ventura County Medical Center and completed his internship and residency in 1980.
He served as Chief Resident during his final year of training from 1979 to 1980. Dr. Bailey joined Peterson Medical Group in 1980 and continued with them until 1989, at which time he entered solo practice. Dr. Bailey and Dr. Banman then joined together to form Primary Medical Group in 1994.
In his free time, Dr. Bailey enjoys golf, fishing, traveling and cooking. Dr. Bailey lives in Ventura with his wife. They have two adult sons and two grandchildren.
