Nick grew up on a dairy farm in the rural town of Grandview, Washington. He attended Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington where he received his bachelors degrees in both Athletic Training and Kinesiology. Nick worked in Division I collegiate athletics at Seattle University as an athletic trainer for one year before deciding to pursue further medical training as a Physician Assistant. Prior to starting PA school he worked for another year in physical therapy, focusing on rehabilitation and treatment of orthopedic injuries. 

​In 2013, He moved to Loma Linda, California to attend the PA program at Loma Linda University. After completing the program in 2015, Nick married a southern Californian, returned home to Grandview, and practiced primary care medicine serving the underserved population in that area for two years.

In August of 2017, he and his wife decided to return to Southern California. Nick is thankful for the opportunity to serve the people of Ventura County.

Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, extended family, and friends when he is not working. He also enjoys hiking, sports, and travelling.
